They hired some ACC refs from yesterday

Any road win in the NFL is decent. I don't know if they beat Tony Homo though. The Hawks don't look like a championship team right now

Once White Castle had to throw it was over

Yeah the team was bad today, Dallas is shit and a last second FG was needed to win. Wilson is teetering on being a bad QB this season. I still can't believe Carroll brought Bevell back. It's a bye week now, perfect time to introduce a new offensive coordinator.

Did we win?

Isn't the point of boxing to get a KO? So you're point is muteTequilla said:We can talk about hard nosed old school football all we want ... but in today's world where the known dangers of violent collisions is known, the elimination of the kind of hits that Lockette took is one of the priorities of the game.
On the play, you had a return blocker circle around and barring Lockette getting his head around and seeing him at the last moment (and probably thankfully he did) he was going to get absolutely blindsided on the play by a player that was nowhere near engaged with him and as such would have had no awareness and more importantly ability to protect himself from such a violent shot.
As an avid hockey fan, these blindside hits were common in hockey 15+ years ago. Lots of work went into cleaning those hits out of the game (think the kind of hits that effectively ended the career of Eric Lindros).
You can disagree with me all you want but the point of sports isn't to injure your opponent ... it's to beat them. It was an absolute BS hit. There's a reason you almost had a fight on the field ... the players know. The players ALWAYS know in those kind of situations. -
Lynch is now JAG, Wilson was okay once again not great.
And bevell needs to go.
I wasn't even all that impressed by the defense either, you take a win though -
Compare boxing today versus 30-40 years ago ...WeAreAFatLesboSchool said:

Max rounds is 12 versus 15 ...
When the fight looks one sided and over, they'll stop it instead of letting the guy getting beat down hang around in the desperate hope of a lucky punch getting him a win.
The health of the fighter is a paramount concern.
That's really the big issue in all of this ... athlete safety. -
Where is that whiny cunt phineas to complain?

I liked how Sherman stayed on Dez most of the game. The clock management at the end could have really fucked them. Cassel is fucking horrible.
