They hired some ACC refs from yesterday

Any road win in the NFL is decent. I don't know if they beat Tony Homo though. The Hawks don't look like a championship team right now

Once White Castle had to throw it was over
-
Yeah the team was bad today, Dallas is shit and a last second FG was needed to win. Wilson is teetering on being a bad QB this season. I still can't believe Carroll brought Bevell back. It's a bye week now, perfect time to introduce a new offensive coordinator.

Did we win?

Isn't the point of boxing to get a KO? So you're point is muteTequilla said:We can talk about hard nosed old school football all we want ... but in today's world where the known dangers of violent collisions is known, the elimination of the kind of hits that Lockette took is one of the priorities of the game.
On the play, you had a return blocker circle around and barring Lockette getting his head around and seeing him at the last moment (and probably thankfully he did) he was going to get absolutely blindsided on the play by a player that was nowhere near engaged with him and as such would have had no awareness and more importantly ability to protect himself from such a violent shot.
As an avid hockey fan, these blindside hits were common in hockey 15+ years ago. Lots of work went into cleaning those hits out of the game (think the kind of hits that effectively ended the career of Eric Lindros).
You can disagree with me all you want but the point of sports isn't to injure your opponent ... it's to beat them. It was an absolute BS hit. There's a reason you almost had a fight on the field ... the players know. The players ALWAYS know in those kind of situations. -
Lynch is now JAG, Wilson was okay once again not great.
And bevell needs to go.
I wasn't even all that impressed by the defense either, you take a win though -
Compare boxing today versus 30-40 years ago ...WeAreAFatLesboSchool said:

Max rounds is 12 versus 15 ...
When the fight looks one sided and over, they'll stop it instead of letting the guy getting beat down hang around in the desperate hope of a lucky punch getting him a win.
The health of the fighter is a paramount concern.
That's really the big issue in all of this ... athlete safety. -
Where is that whiny cunt phineas to complain?
-
I liked how Sherman stayed on Dez most of the game. The clock management at the end could have really fucked them. Cassel is fucking horrible.
-
Lynch is making $12 million, he is definitely the worst contract on the team now.dhdawg said:Lynch is now JAG, Wilson was okay once again not great.

he probably predicted the hooks to get blown out today. His blowout predictions were funny the first 23 timesCuntWaffle said:Where is that whiny cunt phineas to complain?

I posted on Fagbook Wilson needs to stop doing Hollywood dress up parties with Shierra or whatever his girlfriend's name is and people went nuts lol

LIPO with Marshawn. I think he's still got some juice.
-
I will for sure. But he's a running back so you can never be sure, this could easily be the end.RoadDawg55 said:LIPO with Marshawn. I think he's still got some juice.
He's not terrible, he's just not getting the extra yards he used to get. He's still breaking tackles but he's slow
-
I kept thinking last night he was just one step and gone.RoadDawg55 said:LIPO with Marshawn. I think he's still got some juice.
He is clearly suffering from the line play.
Hope the rumors of the Seahawks looking to deal for an OL are true.
To me, that, along with the mental fuck up on the D side, is what is holding this team back from being 7-1 or 8-0 -
Lynch is probably 81% of what he has been ... he doesn't seem to be getting to the holes as quick/fast as he was before. It doesn't seem like a lot, but losing half or three quarters of a step at THAT position is a huge deal.
-
Seahawks have allowed 7 YARDS total in the last 2 4th quarters combined. That's an insane stat regardless of who the competition was. Carroll is a good coach because he fixes shit (yeah I know Bevell is still here, but still). I don't think giving up huge 4th quarter leads will be a problem again. Sherman is officially back and popped off against Dez.

Sherman made a good play in the end zone last night to defend a jump ball.SteveInShelton said:Seahawks have allowed 7 YARDS total in the last 2 4th quarters combined. I still think Homo would have made a difference. -
This is Lynch's ninth year. There aren't many who can maintain a high level of play at that point or past it. Herschel Walker and Marcus Allen might have. Frank Gore is probably a stretch.

Marcus Allen spent much of his career on the bench.Fire_Marshall_Bill said:This is Lynch's ninth year. There aren't many who can maintain a high level of play at that point or past it. Herschel Walker and Marcus Allen might have. Frank Gore is probably a stretch.
Al Davis, for some reason, didn't want him playing a lot. -
That's because Al had another toy to play with named Botopdawgnc said:

Lynch's time is coming to a close. RB's don't play forever, but I think he has some good games in him and the Seahawks seem to have committed to getting him the ball the past two weeks.
