    David Shaw sucks too.

    Rich Rod isn't a great coach. There are only about four great coaches working the college game at any one time. He is a very good coach though and produces teams that do really good things. Stanford sucked last year but they are right back to owning the conference again.

    that was the worst BCS bowl team I've seen in a while (not including some of the dreck that received auto bids from the big east)

    His offensive system is innovative. I'll give him that. Is he a top 30 Power Five coach? Yeah probably, but he's not much better than that.

    2011 Arizona was an anomaly. They started out like 1-5 after a tuff schedule, canned Stoops, promoted an interim guy....it was a 6-6 team that went 3-9. Think of owen12 of '08. So he didn't resurrect a program from nothing. 2010 and 2009 Arizona were bowel teams (as was '08).

    He also beat up on the Big Least when it was UConn, Temple, South Florida, Louisville etc. VT, BC, and Miami left after '03 or '04 IIRC. It wasn't that hard to win nine or ten gaymes with top 35 talent there.
