Petersen says a lot of small timey shit. It's why I hate him, along with the fact he isn't winning. UW has played 5 QB's since Pete's been here. And all 5 have sucked. The number of well quarterbacked games can be counted on one hand. We have played 21 games.

On the Skinny side of things, he was on ESPNU on Friday and the things that stood out to me was that not only does he have a strong arm, but he also has some of the problems that we saw from Magna Carta in the Stanford game ... notably the desire to throw the ball off of his back foot because he didn't want to stand in there and take a hit. And this was against wimpy WESCO football players. How's that going to work in the SEC!!!
Eason will be a nice QB for whoever he transfers to provided that he decides he actually wants to be a football player and that it's not too hard for him first.
I'm sure I'll be viewed in the minority, but I'm not convinced that he's a sure fire can't miss college QB. -

I don't give a Fck if we were expected to be 4-6 wins, you expect your HC and OC to make decisions that align with a D1 experienced coach, and one that wants to win. Youth has no bearing on many of the questions I have, as it lies on the head of the coaches, which is why I see no improvement if they cannot dial it in after 10 years.
Arizona last year... 1:36 left and we cannot win without running a play to gain, HELL NO.
Troy Williams... the only QB we've had that could actually do something gets hamstrung because of a 60mph game when Lindy should have just run the option all game, and is benched to avoid QB contro.

This whole going back to what Vegas said at the start of the season is bullshit. The 2000 team had an injury, I think it was a Wes Welker type receiver which was pretty much all that team had except for a natural athlete freshman that ended up playing quite a bit. So they were picked to finish high, but not win it.
The line had Dominic Daste who only had one leg. Literally one fucking leg that worked. His other ankle was fused or something,
I recall clearly arguing with Ted Miller that they would win the Pac based off of how they finished 1999. They were 7-5 that year. We? were 8-6 last year. He did not agree. I was right.
That team was awfully young as well. Started freshmen and redshirt freshmen in the D back field.
