Assuming UW doesn't go to a bowl this season, but one next year, I have that as a 39 game sample size. Early results are not promising:
11-9 overall; 6-5 @ home; 5-7 in conference play= WEAK
He's going to have to go on a huge roll in order to get this thing going.

At this point, you know what you are getting with a coach. Strengths: I think recruiting is a plus. There is an actual recruiting plan. Team appears to stronger than in years past. Appears to be a good administrator of the program
Weaknesses: Terrible in game coaching. Poor offensive pre-game planning.
I'm not sure how this will play out overall, but it appears that we are doomed for more mediocrity for the long term.

When he was @ BSU, I rarely saw him look even remotely frazzled on the sidelines. @ UW, he looks overwhelmed out there. WTF. I don't understand how such a 180° can happen. Christ almighty.

Perhaps the Pac-12 level talent and coaching on a weekly basis is more than he bargained for.
