Football in the 21st century

I see the higher discussion board bears the tell tale name "hardcore" something. Football in the 21st century is kind of joke. It used to be you just went to the game and read something in the news. Then it was this 24 hour sports radio that Wayne Cody even thought went too far. And he's a guy that went far with a lot. Then it is this shit with the fancy uniforms. I turn on the TV, I have no idea who is fucking playing. Then it is the no huddle bullshit with stupid ass cards on the sidelines. No huddle would be an improvement IFF it sped things up. It doesn't. It is just that the players look over to the sidelines but it doesn't really speed anything up. It is more like a way of keeping the defense from substituting. The overemphasis on head injury. FINE. flag illegal hits on defenseless players. Why also eject them for not only the game, but also next week? The last thing is the idiot internet of sports. 1 frame a second feeds from USSR satellite states which try to install malware on your computer the whole time. And the grand finale: the idiot "higher discussion."

Total snaps per game disagrees. Sure there are outlier games and perhaps even teams, but overall o huddle speeds the game up quite a bit.

Also, get off my lawn and shit.

Agreed, the games are still around 3 hours to 3 hours 10 minutes, but they have quite a few more snaps in the process.

Computers with big black floppy drives rocked. I wish pornos took 36 hours to download, we should go back to dial-up modems too. And what the hell happened to women with huge bushes? What the hell is this bald as a hardwood floor fad?

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say at least he upgraded to 4.0

Which is crazy, because I heard that if you run plays faster, time itself will speed up. Bleenor said it, so it must be true.

I saw if you are going to hustle and run without a huddle, when you get up to the line of scrimmage run your motherfucking play! Don't stand there and look at the sidelines at somebody holding up a picture of a fucking banana or cartoon character. What kind of sissified bullshit has the game come to? Then to talk about it on the internet. Anybody with half a brain can post on the internet.

You're really bad at ranting. You realize they hurry up to the line to keep the defense from substituting, right?

Disagree. The hobby board line saved him.

I'm not familiar with the hobby board joke, but I maintain my assertion and appeal to the judges that his performance in this thread has been IMALOSEResque.

I get more plays in the same amount of time. How does that suck?

Doesn't this fall under the category of more bang for the buck? Also, did that analogy originate from hookers? It makes since.

I wonder what the average number of plays now vs. 10 years ago is. It probably is more. Still, there is a lot of standing around the line of scrimmage happening. Point being "no huddle" doesn't == faster necessarily.

Sark never innovates. He's always 6 months behind everything football. From uniforms, to schemes, to rally cries, to hurry up, to everything Oregon.
