Freshman QBs

First of all, Browning was hot garbage last night. Brown-stain is a suitable nickname, but I was looking through purple (or white, matte black and purple) tinted glasses last night after an unexpected win and decided to compare Jared Goff's freshman stats. 2013 is Goff, then JB. They are not that different. Forgive my image poasting skills.

Goff had almost double the TD's that he did INT's, that' the big difference to me. That and Cobra's numbers are still really skewed by scrimmages whereas Goff probably had a few scrimmages but had a much higher percentage of real opponents.
In games that matter Browning has been awful. Doesn't mean he can't improve, but it's worrisome. -
Cal was like 2-10 as well

the only team Cal beat that year was Portland St.

Goff's QBR and adjusted QBR in 2013 were 48/55. Right now Browning is at 48/53.
Judging Browning's play so far and last night...he should hope to finish ahead of where Goff was as a freshman.
