Our defense is better this season than last season

We have that now, with King rotating from SS to CB and with Gardenhire understanding the playbook now. Clay has been the most consistent tackler on the team, and I can see why he's starting at SS.
Imagine what we could've been if we had this secondary with Shelton, Kikaha, Thompson, and Peters last year.

The secondary and the front 7 just seems way more physical than last year. As good as Shaq was, he was kind of a liability in run defense.

This team is growing...
-
I think Feeney and Brian Clay are the only guys they love next year
EDIT: lose. Apparently I have guy-loving on the brain -
Never understood the Shaq love. He was ok but rarely played up to his potential. I can not recall a single game where he played with the fire these guys did tonight.SteveInShelton said:The secondary and the front 7 just seems way more physical than last year. Sark made our defense look great.
That being said, we are getting more consistent push with a 4 man rush than we did last year. DBs look better when a QB is seeing ghosts. -
I don't see much difference in the quality of play between Peters and Sidney Jones. I think Jones is the next 1st round CB for UW. Jones seems bigger and might be the better tackler...
-
Jones is awesome!
-
UW is CB University

The D is a reflection of the coach. Petersen sucks. You're all fags.

It's Sydney Muthafuckin Jones.priapism said:I don't see much difference in the quality of play between Peters and Sidney Jones. I think Jones is the next 1st round CB for UW. Jones seems bigger and might be the better tackler...
I think he's earn it. -
I love Jones but I definitely don't think he's bigger than Peters. Stud though. King is too. Either one of them could play for #MyHawks.priapism said:I don't see much difference in the quality of play between Peters and Sidney Jones. I think Jones is the next 1st round CB for UW. We also lose Littleton and Tapou. Clay and Littleton are at best jag's. There's enough talent coming back on DL that losing Tapou doesn't bother me. Our weak link next year is at LB, so Feeney being gone will be felt.bananasnblondes said:I think Feeney and Brian Clay are the only guys they love next year

If SC runs 60 times they win. At times the Trojan players wanted to be physical and it was Don James against John Robinson in an I formation battle. Then Sark would Sark
The good news is no one commits to the run except maybe Stanford. Helfrich will be too stupid to run it and he'll get cute too.
Washington beats Oregon rather easily -

At one time they had a back avg 9 YPC and only had 6 attempts.
When they were running it down our throats and needed to score AND run out the clock Sark decides to throw deep.
I just started laughing. -

There was a series late where even Jesse PalmerFS said, "USC needs to stick with the run" followe by three passing plays and a quick three and out.mobey said:

The hurry up 3 and out is my favorite offense when my team isn't running it
