I don't know. The problem is the offensive line went from average/mediocre to horrible. The talent isn't there. Giacomini, for all his penalties, was a good right tackle, a mauler. Unger was solid. Carpenter sucked at pass blocking but was a truck in the run game. They have replaced these guys with nobodies.section_332 said:Take this a loss and some serious problems. I think they are better then this, beating a 0-4 (soon to be 3-13) team. Every good team has a wake up moment...couple years ago was the TB game. Maybe this is the one
Wilson is showing signs of not trusting his OL, and who can blame him.
edit: ok im giving too much credit to Carpenter, I hated him when he was here. But Britt manages to look even worse. -
So, Wilson has trust issues and is pressing?!The_Undertaker said:

This team is going to be anally raped by Andy Dalton next week unless huge improvements are made fast. That would be pretty embarrassing. Shit tier players like Darryll Tapp and Jason Jones were wrecking the hooks O line. Paul Allen must hate money to give Wilson $80 million and let him get wrecked 5 times every game.

I don't speak about the team in St Louis
The 49ers are Jacksonville Jaguars bad -
I want to see this team with a healthy lynch, whether or not he ever gets healthy is a question though

Making playoffs at 8-8 would seem to say that not every tough game loss matters. But hey, whatever blows back your antenna flag is cool.RoadDawg55 said:

I hope palmer stays healthy all year so people will stop using the Carson Palmer is injured excuse. Carson Palmer sucks, Arizona sucks
-
supposedly it was supposed to be Lions ball.
-
You can't intentionally bat the ball out of the endzone. Surprised he didn't grab it and walk out.
-
Whatever, lions didn't deserve that call after fumbling at the 1 yard line. Watch ESPN blow this out of proportion though
-
Nobody seems to know this rule... only a couple of old refs.
-
rules are rules
-
That Pete Carroll always cheating
-
Now on to Thursday.......
-
It's common sense you can't intentionally bat a ball forward on offense.
I remember UW against UCLA (maybe 99) blocked a punt or something and on the return one of the Huskies intentionally fumbled it forward and it drew a penalty flag that gave UCLA the ball back. My memory is hazy here, but i just remember thinking UW was penalized for making a great play. -
Guys, Detroit should have had the ball on the 1!! This has legs!
-
Holy Roller!
#myraiders -
Punters and quarterbacks do it all the time....

This isn't a huge travesty. It's not like the ball was on the turf and a lion was going to fall on it for a TD and a Seahawk snuck from behind and poked it out of play.
He was by himself, and could have just grabbed it. -
But he didn't grab it. Should have been Detroit ball inside the 1 yard line. Total screw up by the back judge. And likely changed the outcome of the game.Doogles said:This isn't a huge travesty. Not to mention, 1) no guarantee Detroit scores from there with that OL. 2) There was 1:30 left and Seattle had all three timeouts and Wilson is incredible in the two minute drill.Doogles said:This isn't a huge travesty. This isn't a game they had won with a right call and lost with a bad call. It's not the Fail Mary.
Still sucks if you're a Lions fan. But lots of things suck if you're a Lions fan. -
Seattle did not have all 3 timeouts. At most, they had 1.

Turns out they had two, Seattle used one TO with 1:51 left. Still, 1:30 and two timeouts is plenty of time for a drive.section_332 said:

We are both wrong. Seattle had 2 timeouts. They took their first timeout with 1:51 remaining.dnc said:

But had the right call been made, 1st and goal Detroit inside the 1, Seattle would have burned their 2nd timeout. -
2 timeouts with 2 minutes. Plenty of time to score.
Blown call. Too many "what ifs" though. It didn't happen with 1 second left.
