5 plays that will haunt UW tonight

#1) Perfect pooch kick after going up 7-3. First guy for us misses it on ground, it hits our second guy in the foot who is trying to block someone: have to get that ball
#2) freshman wr Renfro false starts 50 yards away from play as D Wash. is going to take it up the gut for a td
3) very next play they come back to Renfro who fumbles it after the catch
4) D wash drops a wheel route for a td in the 4th qtr.
5) Next play D wash fumbles the ball on a handoff
I am sure there are 5-10 more plays but I don't want to go watch the replay and go thru the pain again.
5 turnovers, 20 minutes t.o.p, wr group that is contributing nothing and yet we had a chance to win it with 3 minutes to play
ps Cal is no better than the 7th best team in the conference, but Goff is legit and their rb runs like Beastmode

Game was easily winnable, but our dawgs tripped over their dicks every chance they got. Some Bennie Hill shit out there.

1) usc's first score
2) usc's second score
3) usc's third score
4) usc's fourth score
5) usc's fifth score.
The husky game was so hours ago. -
Was the title of this thread a typo?
Shouldn't it read 50 plays that will haunt UW tonight? -

That was the five I could remember from the stadium. The non-call pi against cal wr in the third qtr for the td is there also, but that's just Pac-12 ref's in mid-season form.
If I watched the replay I am sure there are 10 more.

From my vantage the wheel route was under thrown. Couldn't tell if it was a straight drop.

Sun in eyes, it was a beautiful ball. The interception to Hall was under thrown, and the interception to MIckens he was MickensFS and didn't fight for the ball.AEB said:From my vantage the wheel route was under thrown. Couldn't tell if it was a straight drop.

Wa at the game (yeah, I hate money) can anyone who saw it on TV tell me if that long California incompletion down the sideline they overturned should have been. Never got a 2nd look in the stadium.

81% underthrow. Rest was a sun enhanced drop.AEB said:From my vantage the wheel route was under thrown. Couldn't tell if it was a straight drop.

It's hard to tell if you're being sarcastic or not. Hell, I don't even know about myself anymore. But this play still pisses me off 2 days later. It was a metaphor for the last 15 years of the program:TierbsHsotBoobs said:

1. You get something that at the start looks like it's going somewhere --> All of our Offseason National Championships
2. Then the ball is thrown and you think it's a bit off but seems like it should be ok --> Above average OOC win percentage
3. The ball just goes right past Washington --> The rest of the conference plungering us
4. Yet when you go out, take a walk for perspective, talk to your two dads, pet the dog you kicked, you realize it was destined to failure before it started because who the hell calls that pass so the WR/RB had to catch it looking directly back into the sun? Is DWash the anti-Zoolander and can't go right to where the pass wouldn't be coming directly from the blinding sun? --> Realizing days/months/years later that we have had crap coaching hires which meant we have been doomed before we started

It was a catchable ball, nowhere near beautiful. It was at least 3 yards too far inside, the poont of the wheel route is to go down the sidelines.NeGgaPlEaSe said:

And Mickens should have given better effort on that pick, but it was probably a pick regardless. Really poor decision on Cobra's part. -
Everyone hates Mickens so much that they are looking to blame him for anything. There were 3 Cal defenders closer to that ball than Mickens.dnc said:
