Is Lenius a doog legend?

Since UCLA last year, all I can remember about him is running backwards from the 1st down marker on 3rd down at BSU, fumbling against USU, that holding penalty against BSU that cost us field position, the offensive PI on the first play against Cal, and failing to block the Cal CB on Micken's bubble screen a couple of times.
I know it's early, but he is one player that has failed to live up to the offseason hype.

Classic raw athlete who needed a redshirt year and two years in the weight room before he saw the field. Still could be good at some point but by the time he is his time here will be almost up.
-
Has a nice frame, but...ZERO FOOT SPEED. Cant get any seperation.

First name is Brayden.
Are we done here? -
I'm LIPO because he has some skills, but he should have redshirted last year.dnc said:Classic raw athlete who needed a redshirt year and two years in the weight room before he saw the field. Still could be good at some point but by the time he is his time here will be almost up.

He's just one of many WRs who are playing like shit. They have trouble getting open, they have trouble catching the ball when they do get open, and they have trouble holding on to the ball when they do get open and do catch the ball. Oh, and they can't block for shit either. Other than that, they're playing great!

In a perfect world, he wouldn't be playing yet but when you have a scrap heap consisting of Marvin Hall and a one-legged Kasen Williams, you have to look at other options.
Despite the backwards running that he must have learned from Mickens, I like the looks he's gotten over the middle of the field on slants. -
Lenius needs to get on roids and stay on the roids. Weakest 6'5 225 WR I've ever seen.
That being said, he has some nice skills. -
What skills does he have and when is he going to show them?HeretoBeatmyChest said:Lenius needs to get on roids and stay on the roids. Weakest 6'5 225 WR I've ever seen.

No WR has done anything. Pettis has also sucked and Mickens continues to be Mickens. It's on the coaches. If these guys are actually that bad, get Daniels, McClatcher, and Renfro (despite fumble) in there more.

I want Pease gone immediately. Jimmie Dougherty and Eric Kiesau were 10x better than he is. Those WR's blocked their asses off under Sark. Our WR's can't locate balls when they are thrown at them. There has been at least 4 times this year where it looks like, from my seats, Browning throws a good ball to a WR and they aren't expecting it or just don't find it. It is driving me nuts.
-
Until they're worth a shit we'll call them by number only. We have to look those up but they're all shit right now.

Him and Pettis are JAGs until proven otherwise. They for some reason were listed as strengths going into the season by some fans just because they caught a couple passes as true freshman. Too early to call them doog legends because they could still turn out to be good players.
-
I think we're getting somewhere with Pease being the problem for the WRs. They've been the weakest position group since Petersen's arrival.

Pettis has actually been a playmaker, though he seems to have regressed this year and for some reason hasn't been targeted that often compared to Mickens.The_Undertaker said:Him and Pettis are JAGs until proven otherwise. You'd think Petersen would give greater attention to this now that he has his Kellen Moore heir apparent starting at QB (I'm not knocking Browning). Moore wouldn't done so well with these shitty WRs.whatshouldicareabout said:I think we're getting somewhere with Pease being the problem for the WRs. Get the tight ends involved on 3rd down moreRoadDawg55 said:No WR has done anything. Pettis has also sucked and Mickens continues to be Mickens. It's on the coaches. If these guys are actually that bad, get Daniels, McClatcher, and Renfro (despite fumble) in there more.

Or just in general
-
We never had to worry about Sark not getting involved with tight ends.

Awesomed, but I doubt most of those ends were very tightPurpleJ said:We never had to worry about Sark not getting involved with tight ends.

Why do you hate Diandre Campbell?bananasnblondes said:In a perfect world, he wouldn't be playing yet but when you have a scrap heap consisting of Marvin Hall and a one-legged Kasen Williams, you have to look at other options.
