That article actually made me feel worse about the offense.

I sort of agree. I am still not sure why the WRs wouldn't huddle. What is the advantage of not having them huddle if you are having everyone else huddle? The only thing I could think of is it prevents a penalty for breaking a huddle with 12 or more players, but if that is the reason then it would be a pretty stupid reason.RoadDawg55 said:That article actually made me feel worse about the offense.

Petersen and Sark are complete opposites in most respects, but they do have one thing in common. They try and outsmart the other team and coaches with a lot of cuteness and trickery.Hippopeteamus said:

Our offense is Nick Holtsville fucking terrible until we score 30 offensive points on a top-half of the Pac team.

I hate how cautious Smith sounds when talking about Gaskin. He is the best back, it's obvious. I know you don't want to crush DWash's confidence (he still has tools) but he's costing the O production.
Especially with a young line that doesn't really create truck lanes to run though. Gaskin is the best back because he can make something out of nothing, and my money is there will be a lot more of nothing once Pac play comes around. -

Good riddance. As I've pointed out before, El Siete's remarks in 2013 basically admitted the no-huddle was only a gimmick to hide a shitty OL anyway:
Asked if told 10 years ago he would be calling this type of offense, Sarkisian laughed. He said he should have been and also said that he would love to have played this style. In the past, he thought an approach where he tried to shorten the game would be the best route for the team. But, because of depth and skill personnel, that this best-suited the Huskies this season. In addition, he said it allows them to, “emphasize our skill players and de-emphasize up front.”
I'd rather Pete keep building a bad-ass OL and just punch teams in the mouth with it. -
