PM to DJ: Money grab with Amazon clickthrough?

I listen to a few podcasts that use this as their primary means of revenue. Here's an example; the Amazon banner is on the right:

The percentage you get for each purchase is usually nominal, but the price to the buyer remains the same and most poasters are at least semi-regularly buying stuff on Amazon anyway. The biggest problem is remembering to take the extra step to access the site through the click-through link to get to Amazon (I forget all the time).
Also, I'm pretty sure you could access a summary of the products purchased using your click-through (but not who bought them), so you could have a weekly poast highlighting some of the depraved shit (Sark-branded dildos/Ossai jerseys) that HHBs have bought the prior week.
