First the contenders, i.e. real college football message board royalty:

    Everyone but Fire Marshall Bill

There are two categories of the second tier: The annoying and the not annoying. Sometimes with commentary. If I feel like it.

    Not Annoying:

    No one

    Annoying

    Fire Marshall Bill

    FTFY
    Uh huh

If I'm annoying you, I'm clearly doing something right.

If you haven't done shit in the last 20 years, you aren't relevant.

The problem with Miami is even when they're great, no one gives a shit. If USC had only started being good in 1984, it would be the same deal. No one in Miami gives a shit. It's essentially a waste of a good team.

When any team is on top or near the top for a number of years People do give a shit. When they go through a dry spell People don't care how good they were Even 8-10 years prior. The only exception to that rule is Notre Dame.

Alabama was dreck for a good 10-12 years until Saban came to town and no one talked about them. Nebraska was elite for 30 years until Osborne retired. Who gives a fuck about them anymore. SC sucked ass for almost 10 years before Petey came around and no one cared about them then.

With the exception of ND. If you don't dominate then no one outside ur region could give 2.5 fucks about you.

    Nebraska

these guys are falling faster than hillary clinton's popularity

BYU - Team Mormon. Fraudulent NC we should have won. It's we. Play on Sunday you closet fags. Jesus Christ. Join the 1960s.

i have no clue why any black players would want to play for byu after the stance the lds church took, but, i suppose you could say the same about any SEC team. so in closing this post is now about the SEC.

Too much hate not to awesome this post. Oh yeah and for you quooks, yes it is incredibly sad and pathetic that Colorado/Gtech has a Natty and you don't. I don't even know how that happens with the kind of program Oregon is.

But why has no one ever given 2.5 fucks about Wazzu?

People do care when Bama or USC are train wrecks. They get pub for being a train wreck and speculation on how or if they can bounce back.

Michigan has been the same way the last few years. Now with Harbaugh the story is they are BACK!

True blue bloods of college football are always the story win or lose. They are only a handful of them. No where near as many as this thread would indicate.

Think back to early James years when it was as big a story that USC wasn't winning the Pac 8 as it was that UW did.

We use that same troll job on Oregon - must have been a down year in the PAC 12, Heisman race, National playoffs. Because it is Oregon.

They are a great example of a team that has built a brand and become a big winner that no one will give a shit about if they fade.

UW is not a blood blood or elite. They are forgotten. There is some small interest if they can win again and if they do they will get attention but that's about it
