Why I'm dooging

Last year was a total shitshow and felt like as much with a confused Pete just trying to figure out why kids couldn't even keep a locker room neat. This came across often in interviews and so many answers last year were along the lines of "we're just trying to figure this out and get guys on the same page."

Juxtapose that with the interview Pete gave yesterday about the Boise game and it's night and day. The quote that did it for me was something like "we have a plan and you will see it on Friday night." I could be wrong, but it feels like everybody is ready to go out and focus 100% on football.

I've maintained that on some level it seemed obvious last year that Pete thought our whole team was a bunch of pieces of shit. I felt like he was purposefully not really playing to our strengths and basically just saying, 'there's a way I want it done and fuck you if you can't do it'.

Arizona was the first game where we looked like a real team, but we fucked that game off in a Miley Cyrus, horrible snapping, butt-fuck mental breakdown haze.

The only thing that I still can't wrap my head around is how flat we came out for the bowl game. It was a giant fucking step back after crawling forward a few feet.
It was a shit bowl. Who fucking cares?
    Definitely not Mike Leach.

By Boise State's standards, the 2012 season was frustrating. Southwick and the offense were historically awful. Pete and the entire staff were obviously frustrated, but changes were ahead. Offensive system was "streamlined", Pete promised that Prince wouldn't be a dumb shit anymore, so optimism was growing. We had a super duper offense nobody knew about, including Washington.

Then we got blown the fuck out by you doogs. Maybe he feels like he's got a trick up his sleeve. Maybe he's keeping positivity up because he knows...idk, we'll find out Friday.

Bottom line: Pete's word isn't the gospel. With a straight face he once hyped the living shit outta Jack Fields to be the second coming of Christ to the Boise media. Jack was a classic OKG...pastors kid, "hard worker", looks fantastic in practice, "does what we ask of him". "Has all the tools to be great" blah blah blah

Fields has done absolutely nothing. His greatest accolade at BSU is knocking Rick Smith back to 1978 in the locker room. So much for the guy OKGing all over the place.

Take Pete's words with a grain of salt.

    Good perspective. Thanks.

I miss our coach talking av

Yeah, it was pretty obvious last year that Petersen had no idea what kind of shit show, by his standards, he was walking in to. Mitch was right on when he said "Petersen didn't have fun last year" and "didn't like the team he was left with". I absolutely love the culture he is building at UW, but the wins need to follow.

I think that if Petersen can get UW over the hump (and I don't mean beating all the crappy teams and getting blown out by the good teams, Sark), the team will be Harbaugh/Stanford TUFF, but without a coach who's itching to get out.

I don't think Harbaugh was itching to leave Stanford. Who could blame him for taking the 49ers job?
Outside of the ownership group who ran him out of town after the greatest first three year run of nearly any coach in the NFL?
