Also worth noting that:
Budda was flipped from Oregon
McIntosh was flipped from UCLA
Jones was flipped from Utah
Gardenhire was flipped from Wazzu
Quite an impressive recruiting effort in 2013. -

He already has his old boat.bananasnblondes said:Starting to look like we will have 4 2nd year players starting: Buttah, McIntosh, Jones, and Gardenhire. Zeke Turner could also be in there but there hasn't been much talk of him in practice reports.

Yea but some 2017 recruits have visited other schools and had fun so I'm skeptical.

Just goes to show people need to calm down and shouldn't fret too much about early commits and things of that sort. @Gladstonewhatshouldicareabout said:Also worth noting that:

Nebraska style classy signature. @brchco12

I know McIntosh had a really good spring camp, and from what I've seen Gardenhire has also had a great fall camp.
That DB class could be stellar. -
A little nerve racking after Budda and Jones, but I'm also fairly confident guys will step up.

Depth will be the issue that needs to be solved this season. At CB, especially, since King is moving to a new position (CB and Nickel), Lewis is the 4th CB right now and he's coming back from injury... then you have Joyner and Miller and that's it.RoadDawg55 said:A little nerve racking after Budda and Jones, but I'm also fairly confident guys will step up.
Safety has a little bit more depth since some of those guys played last year, but McIntosh and Turner starting alongside Baker, two players who weren't here last year, means the options we had last year aren't good enough, and the upperclassmen like Beaver and Walker and Clay are a drop off in talent or something. They still have game experience and we know what we're getting from them, so hopefully this means McIntosh and Turner are improvements. -
I'm doogin a little bit, but I'm with Coker, I have a feeling these guys can play.
