Wide open receivers? Code for the secondary is shit.bananasnblondes said:Eklund's practice report said Lind quiet looked like shit - overthrowing wide open receivers, etc. He said Magna Carta looked much more solid (minus the one INT)

Based on last year, I'd bet no. Young group but they looked solid last year. Receivers do get open from time to time. It's one of their jobs, along with catch the ball, and run.RaccoonHarry said:

Well, the one thing I will say about things is that our players improved last year. If DWash improves, if Feeney improves (I am loathe to admit the existence of Littleton), if Sid Jones and Budda improve like people did last year, they could all be very good players. DWash just has no instincts for running. Obviously if they can use him well, though, he is very dangerous.

Joe Mathis practicing with the rookies for Day 1?
-
So much of this year's success hinges on our production at running back. A good running game can make a shit show QB appear competent
-
yes and intelligent playcalling that lessens, nay masks, our shortcomings and focuses on our strengths (TEs, power run, etc)
-
I wondered that myself.whatshouldicareabout said:Joe Mathis practicing with the rookies for Day 1?

Forgot about that guy.
Probably will again. -
Is Christian Caple the only reporter at the second practice? Why does Seattle have such shitty sports journalism?

The season is over.
-
You can tell the Times hates J00d since they assigned him the morning practice and Percy Allen to the afternoon one.
-
Mathis at DE, Dissly at DT, he's 277 pounds, plenty big for a college DT, Qualls at NT, and Feeney at Buck. That's my guess.whatshouldicareabout said:Joe Mathis practicing with the rookies for Day 1?

Petersen said they would have to have some veterans over on the rookie side to even out numbers and also to have them show them the ropes of a practice. Wouldn't read much into it.whatshouldicareabout said:Joe Mathis practicing with the rookies for Day 1?

Right, just surprised since I thought he would've kept all the starters together for the veterans' practice. Then again, they probably want a pass-rusher liked him to terrorize the true freshman tackles like Adams and Burleson.CokeGreaterThanPepsi said:

Put the red head and Kevin King on the all "I'm not scared walking towards these guys in a dark alley" team.
Tony Parrish, Hakim Akbar, Tommie Smith, Curtis Williams- I would shit my pants. -
Hmm so NAMBLA's finest think Browning is behind the other two QB'S. That probably means he'll be the starter.bananasnblondes said:Here's the expert analysis by Twitchy Frankenstein and the Hand-Waving Fatty

Ektard keeping it real.
When asked about Budda not being at practice, gives all credit to Jood's reporting because according to Ektard, he "did not get that".
Austin Joyner apparently had a highlight catch but Ektard, "did not see it".
And, in his area of specialty, there was a recruit on campus today ... but Ektard couldn't remember his name. -
Lol notice how fucking butt hurt he was in the tone of his voice too? Like he should have been the first to know.DHD said:Ektard keeping it real.
