Strangely unsatisfying

Yale made a very good point on DM: If this were 2009 we would be ecstatic with this win. Today is just sort of ........unsatisfying.
There were more moments of brilliance, and there were fumbles, blown coverages, way too many penalties, and some idiotic playcalling.
Lets see where we are after the Arizona game.

I guess if you think we are mediocre team and that's your goal we should be elated, but my goal is to win the Pac-12 North and we didn't look like a championship team.
These are the kind of low expectations I don't understand. Yeah, if this were 2009 I would be happy with this...
Right now, I think it was an okay win where we showed we are not really any better than we were last year. That is worrisome.

Honks weren't happy...Illinois had 2 TD drops...sloppy play...Sankey is THE REAL SAVIOR...smith is also enormous for the offense.

Of course no mention of Price's play. I bet Millen barely even acknowledged him.jecornel said:Honks weren't happy...Illinois had 2 TD drops...sloppy play...Sankey is THE REAL SAVIOR...smith is also enormous for the offense.

Very little price talk...a few comments. If locker were the QB tonight...it would been two hours of locker talk and his god given abilities.

The funny thing is, Yale is a pretty level-headed guy. but compared to the doogs over there, he's freaking Eor.

A win is a win. Hopefully there won't be more complacency after the next bye.

Moving the ball without scoring points is going to bite UW in the ass sooner or later, but all road wins are good wins, and Illinois isn't a shit team.

Yale is one of the guys I expect to end up over here before the year is done. I think he'd be a welcome addition to this forum.DugtheDoog said:The funny thing is, Yale is a pretty level-headed guy. but compared to the doogs over there, he's freaking Eor.

We could use some of his football genius to break down 16 year olds' hip drive and pad levelHe_Needs_More_Time said:
