Probably all USC but whatever

He gone, no official for UW.

Must've been afraid of competing against Rapp for playing time.GrundleStiltzkin said:He gone, no official for UW.

We will never, ever pull these kinds of kids out of Cal during the middle of a duck ade and a ten year losing streak to Arizona State.
This is why instate players are so important… We automatically are in the top two or three for every kid and state. I used to make this point all the time on DM.C, but all the fucking Doogs were too stupid to understand it.
If we don't get Eason, we don't ever fucking replace him with an equal player. Ever. We are sifting through SMU's commit… That's the reality.
Getting Wattenburg was a fucking miracle. -
It's no coincidence that most of our NFL players are local players too a lot of the time. In-state is crucial, crucial, crucial until we get good enough to beat USC, UCLA, Furd, UO, ASU, Oklahoma, Michigan for Cali kids consistently.

In the past 30 years, who were our best players by position? A look at where they're from is sobering:
QB: Marques, Billy Joe, Jake (1st round!), Brunell, Chandler, etc
WR: Reggie and Mario
TE: ASJ, Stevens, Cleeland, Bruener, Pierce
RB: Dillon, Kaufman, Polk and Sankey
OL: Olin, Benji, Chad Ward, Lincoln Kennedy
DL: Stan, Farr, Larry, Danny, Kikaha
LB: Foster, Butler, Thompson, Hoffmann
CB: Peters, Trufant, Hall, Bailey
S: Pahukoa, Smith, Milloy, Parrish, Akbar, Goldson
There are only 2-3 positions that aren't dominated by PNW guys.
This is why Amandre Williams, Gilchrist and Evan Weaver are important. -
Since 2002 UW has had 8 players from the state of Washington drafted into the NFL. 5 players from California drafted, and 2 Hawai'i players drafted... Let me cry about the talent drought on the roster... 15 players in 13 years.
During that time 175 CA kids have signed LOIs with UW, 101 WA kids, 15 CA kids... other states are all in the single digit.
Fence = Talent
I can't find a data source past 2010 for kids that went elsewhere, but like Poopsi stated below.
DeCastro, Schilling, Russell, Banner, Garnett, Mays, Stewart...
Then some of the under the radar type players that went onto good college careers and got drafted (Nate Burleson, Scott Crichton (not Talia), Brandon Gibson, Xavier Cooper all come to mind). -
And that coincides with Sark/Ty missing aMrsPetersen said:Since 2002 UW had 8 WA players drafted into the NFL. 5 CA players drafted, 2 HI players drafted...

DeCastro, Schilling, Russell, Banner, Garnett, etc.
Good stuff, MrsPetersen, your husband must be proud. I hope he has a good season this year, tell him we appreciate his sideline angryness because it makes for good Gifs by @GrundleStiltzkin. -
