    This is a fact that we should deal with. It's why we need to gain some sort of control and deport the rapists. It's really about open versus closed borders more than what to do with all that are here. Amnesty will be part of the compromise

    The primary problem seems to be incompetence and corruption in the border agency, and bureaucratic legalese that gums up the policy machinery. Both sides seem to be talking past each other.
