.600 the rest of the way gets them to 85 games and squarely in the hunt ... very doable.

At this point I'm rooting for the Mariners to get a Top 5 pick in the draft so that they can take the projectable 6'7" lefty from Florida named AJ Puk.

You know damn well they'll get hot a week too late and finish a couple games out. Good enough for a mid teen pick next year.

    Like it matters.......

They haven't drafted an impact first rounder since ARod, unless you count the next two years when they drafted Varitek (traded while in the minors) and Jose Cruz Jr. (Traded mid-season of year 1 and future 30/30 guy for Toronto). Guess who the Mariners got for those gems?..........................Heathcliff Slocumb, Paul Spoljaric, and Mike Timlin. But why should this franchise die in a fire?

Oh.......how could I forget Adam Jones? and yeah, they traded him too.

2nd worst record in the AL. 2nd worst run differential. The A's will pass the Mariners. The Rangers and M's will likely be duking it out for worst in the West, possible even worst in the AL.
