Welcome to the Hardcore Husky Forums. Folks who are well-known in Cyberland and not that dumb.

Apparently Sark deserves some credit for Petersen's recruiting success...

CP doesn’t get those (recruits) if Sark didn’t rebuild.- Howling Husky

If Pete took over for Ty instead of Sark and he was trying to build this team from the ashes?
I agree 100% with Howling Husky; IMHO the chances of these type recruits coming here off an 0-12 season would be VERY low. No matter "how" Sark brought us back to respectability, it played a part.- Onewoodwacker

Kindly, what the hell is wrong with our fan base?

This is an analysis that needs to be front paged ... Perhaps I will put together a post on this over the weekend

By the way Coons was the best guy from that class.

And some of these Husky fans seriously should be at the front of the depopulation line.

The script: If Petersen is succesful, Kim will start a massive campaign about how Sark did all the groundwork and Petersen stepped in at the right time.

That being said, I think someone could make a case that in many position groups, Ty left Sark in a better situation than Sark left Petersen in. Petersen is pretty much having to completely overhaul the roster Sark left.

Ty left Sark with Locker and Price.

Sark left Petersen with Miles, Lindquist, and Williams.

I understand your point, but I'm going with Shaq as #1. However, once you get to 7, you're basically at 25.

Confirmation of this claim is on Sarks wiki page where he takes credit for so many NFL careers.

Pepsi ... perhaps we should do a joint post on the topic. You want to hit the stats and I'll hit some commentary?

Kim will still be saying that same line 5 years from now. He says that with every 4 star commit. He can't help taking a backhanded shot at Pete. What a Putz.

In related news, Kim has finally offered his take on the Eifler commit. I'm sure it will surprise many of you:

"Pete and staff made some early mistakes and adjusted. Now they need to find a QB."

Roof did the same multihandle thing when realdawg was dying, it's a logical step in the death of a sociopath's forum.

It sucks that we will want to fire Peterman this season because of Sark's recruiting. I don't want to give him a pass because there does seem to be a few coaching issues that need to show improvement, cough Jonathon Smith and the entire offense, but this team sucks. 2012 is a worst in the Pac 12 type of class. There is Shaq and maybe two or three middling starters (Mickens, Littleton, maybe Eldrenkamp and Brostek).

2013 had some good players and there are other young guys with promise. Still, a lot of the guys that had fans excited are gone. Daeshon Hall left before signing day, Farria is gone, Troy Williams, String, Jermaine Kelly. Williams, String, and Kelly were pretty much in everyone's top 5 lists of the best recruits in the class. I guess the doogpound crew can blame Peterman for those guys being gone.

I thought it was asinine when PLSS said Sark took over a more talented program than Petersen. It's a damn close call.

Back from the Bend. Fucking this. Ty was a terrible coach who couldn't identify the "bullets" he had, but his roster was pretty stacked comparatively to Sevens. A lot of Sark's early successes came on the backs of Ty recruits.

Spot in @RoadDawg55. We are going to want to run Petersen off the road this season. But my God, the talent just isn't there and we know why.... Gonna really test our patience.

It's why this season is all about incremental progress and improvement ... See more position groups grow up like the DBs last year. I'm not ready to concede this year as a complete throwaway.

Also will probably help my patience to have TCU taking enough attention away
