I'm surprised that you are surprised

"I had one of the top shows on television, 'The Apprentice,' and I decided not to do it because I wanted to do this. I give up hundreds of millions of dollars of deals where I'm doing this. Then you hear about NASCAR, and you hear about NBC, and you hear about, you know, different people that drop Trump because Trump wants safety in the United States. If you think of it, what am I doing? I say let's make our country safe, and people are offended. It's incredible to me."

Trump has sacrificed more than you could ever dream of.
Time to lick the cheetos off your fingers. You don't want to ruin another keyboard. -

You don't even realize what bankruptcy is either, do you.

"I've used the laws of this country to pare debt. ... We'll have the company. We'll throw it into a chapter. We'll negotiate with the banks. We'll make a fantastic deal. You know, it's like on 'The Apprentice.' It's not personal. It's just business," Trump told ABC's George Stephanopoulos last Thursday.

The story in Seattle on the tallest building in the west becoming the Sea First Tower (RIP) is that Martin Selig, who developed that building along with most of north of downtown in the 70's and 80's would get himself so over extended on loans from Sea First that they had no choice but to buy the building from him or go under with him.
Whether that is true or not, it's a cool story bro. RE developers are all about the deal. Selig was undefeated until his divorce. She won rather easily.

She ended up with adjacent kickass houses on Lake Washington. Refused to drop the Selig name though - continued to cash in on it. Just like Steve Wynn's former broad Phyllis, but Andrea was much nicer.RaceBannon said:The story in Seattle on the tallest building in the west becoming the Sea First Tower (RIP) is that Martin Selig, who developed that building along with most of north of downtown in the 70's and 80's would get himself so over extended on loans from Sea First that they had no choice but to buy the building from him or go under with him.

Maybe he can find a way to pare the debt of America, right?RaceBannon said:Too bad Trump wasn't a community organizer

I don't follow the Trumpster, but I have a general idea of his background -- he was born near the top of the mountain -- and has done little to change where he started in life.pawz said:Trump has sacrificed more than you could ever dream of.
So what exactly has he ever sacrificed?
-
I'm not a Trump fan, but wtf. He's worth 4 billion. His dad was reportedly worth 250 million. That's a pretty big difference. He had a silver spoon, but he's still gone out and made shit happen. He didn't sit on his ass and enjoy daddy's money.OZONE said:

He risks his name and fortune every day. He employs thousands of people who depend on him... Including pilots for jet, helicopter and a yacht.
-
It isn't really a risk when the gov't bales him out after he makes shitty business decisions.sarktastic said:He risks his name and fortune every day. He employs thousands of people who depend on him... Including pilots for jet, helicopter and a yacht.
He was born into the top 0.005%, and he is still there.
So is that it? That is what this amazing man as "sacraficed"?

Say it to his face!
