I'm surprised that you are surprised
"I had one of the top shows on television, 'The Apprentice,' and I decided not to do it because I wanted to do this. I give up hundreds of millions of dollars of deals where I'm doing this. Then you hear about NASCAR, and you hear about NBC, and you hear about, you know, different people that drop Trump because Trump wants safety in the United States. If you think of it, what am I doing? I say let's make our country safe, and people are offended. It's incredible to me."

"I've used the laws of this country to pare debt. ... We'll have the company. We'll throw it into a chapter. We'll negotiate with the banks. We'll make a fantastic deal. You know, it's like on 'The Apprentice.' It's not personal. It's just business," Trump told ABC's George Stephanopoulos last Thursday.

The story in Seattle on the tallest building in the west becoming the Sea First Tower (RIP) is that Martin Selig, who developed that building along with most of north of downtown in the 70's and 80's would get himself so over extended on loans from Sea First that they had no choice but to buy the building from him or go under with him.
Whether that is true or not, it's a cool story bro. RE developers are all about the deal. Selig was undefeated until his divorce. She won rather easily.

She ended up with adjacent kickass houses on Lake Washington. Refused to drop the Selig name though - continued to cash in on it. Just like Steve Wynn's former broad Phyllis, but Andrea was much nicer.RaceBannon said:The story in Seattle on the tallest building in the west becoming the Sea First Tower (RIP) is that Martin Selig, who developed that building along with most of north of downtown in the 70's and 80's would get himself so over extended on loans from Sea First that they had no choice but to buy the building from him or go under with him.
