Seattle Sixth Graders Given Birth Control Without Parental Knowledge

Yes, brother of Bill's fringe right wing site is my source. It still seems...creepy.

As long as the 'inserter' has been government approved, I don't see any issues that should concern parents.
-
I support sterilization of all Seattle residents..
-
While the article/website linked doesnt offer a single shred of evidence that this is actually happening, and refers to IUDs as abortion devices, I would support this practice, whether or not it's actually happening 110%
-
Are they using the Dalkon Shield?
-
I'm outraged that more 6th graders can't be forced by their parents into becoming moms. Some people are so desperate to be grandparents they can't even wait for their teenagers to get into high school first.
-
The googles say it's happening at an ever increasing rate. A few the first year this was introduced, now the numbers are in the hundreds at the 13 schools participating in the program. I'm all for responsible proactive measures by individuals, but Seattle has truly broken into commie/nazi land with state sponsored usurping of parental rights. It's been unreal to watch how quickly and how far down this path the city has gone. It's no place to raise a kid, that's for sure.bananasnblondes said:While the article/website linked doesnt offer a single shred of evidence that this is actually happening, and refers to IUDs as abortion devices, I would support this practice, whether or not it's actually happening 110%

This is brazenly stupid fucked up.
-
I am sure the girls using this are nothing but the best and brightest.
-
I'd rather they shove IEDs up their cooters.
-
Next thing they will be cutting off sixth grade boy's peters!
-
Well at least now I don't have to worry about condoms.
-
Yes, because we need more 25 year old grandparents running around.
-
Mao, Stalin and Hitler agree with you. The state is the parent and it decides what is best.OZONE said:Yes, because we need more 25 year old grandparents running around.
Not to be outdone by Washington, Oregon has decided to provide sex change operations to children without parental consent, and they're fully paid for by Oregon tax payers. Permanent cure for the parent and grandparent problem you're so fearful of.

Huh? I'm guessing you are drunk because your logic on this is shitty as fuck.Southerndawg said:

The state isn't forcing these kids to have birth control, it is making it available to them if they request it, even in the case that their parents aren't informed.
Believe it or not, there are some shitty parents out there. A lot in fact.
And if the child of a shitty parent requests birth control, that is a fuck of a lot better than the child of a shitty parent pushing out a kid at the age of 12.
If you can't see that, then you should stick to anonymous debates on internet message boards, and don't admit your fucking stupidity in public to somebody that knows you IRL. Oh wait... -
What ever happened to the "I'll beat you to death if you get your dick wet" birth control my parents used to give me? It seemed to work well for quite a few decades.

Biology teachers cheer this right to secrecy.
what about great kids from great parents?OZONE said:

Why no concern for fifth grade or fourth grade girls? -
Do great kids hide their birth control choices from their great parents? Probably not, but if so, cheers on the kid for realizing that 12 isn't the age at which they should become a parent.sarktastic said:Biology teachers cheer this right to secrecy.

Do great kids have sex at twelve? Cheers on the kid for realizing that 12 isn't the age at which they should be having sex.
-
Some do, but not great ones. The "at risk" ones tend to be fs and reckless at an earlier age. I still don't think middle school kids need to be given birth control at public schools without parental knowledge.sarktastic said:Do great kids have sex at twelve? I like to give the benefit of the doubt to the hypothetical child over the hypothetical parent and say to hell with education, society, and general maturity.OZONE said:

It's what I like to do. -
A. Provide birth control to 12 year olds.
B. Provide state assistance to teenage mother.
Either way the state is responsible for the moral decay of society. I'd rather they let the dumbfucks have kids at 12 and have to figure it out on their own without help. Maybe they might take responsibility for themselves and not have kids they can't provide for, but you know, socialism and shit. Vote Dem!!!!1 -
I blame 12s for this.
-
Whatever. I take it then, you also like to think its okay for 12 year olds to be parents.brchco12 said:

Terrific. But not all kids have the foresight, and do we want kids without that foresight, becoming parents at 12? I sure as hell fucking don't want more shitty parents polluting our world with more shitty kids.sarktastic said:Do great kids have sex at twelve? Sounds like a great plan. I wonder how much this would contribute to increased crime rates.PurpleJ said:I'd rather they let the dumbfucks have kids at 12 and have to figure it out on their own without help.
Who is more likely to break into your car or house or rob your mom on the bus or get enticed into moving to Syria go join ISIS:
A. A kid born to a 12 year old dumbshit whose parents are too stupid to raise them well and so they get raised by thugs on the street and their moms 5th boyfriend
B. A kid born to a 28 yo college graduate that planned the birth and has a plan for their upbringing.
I'm not trying to stereotype, so don't go twisting... but I think the answer is pretty fucking obvious.
If you are in favor of 12 year olds becoming moms, and then just figuring it out on their own... then you deserve it the next time you get robbed. -
Flagged for thinking it's the government's responsibility to take care of this shit. Personal responsibility goes a long way. Just as I'll be personally responsible for carrying and shooting the crack baby in head when they try to rob me. Everybody wins!OZONE said:

When the cops don't come to your aid, because they are part of the gov't you hate, then you'll deserve that too.PurpleJ said:

And when your property rights are trampled on -- because it is the gov't that enforces that as well, again, you will be shit out of luck.
You should go back to whatever Ayn Rand/Posse Comitatus fantasy you live in, and leave debates like this to the adults. -

Such overly dramatic fag O
p.s. always be prepared to handle someone trying to trample your property rights -
LOL at thinking the cops would come to my aid anyways. They'd take an hour, file a report and LEAVE. And wtf does this have to do with property rights? How is OZONE a shitty poster?
