Thursday's monthly jobs report from the government showed that employers added a solid 223,000 jobs in June and that the unemployment rate fell to 5.3 percent from 5.5 percent in May. Even so, the generally improving job market still bears traits that have long been regarded as weaknesses.
The unemployment rate didn't fall in June because more people were hired. The rate fell solely because the number of people who had become dispirited and stopped looking for work far exceeded the number who found jobs.
I'm confused. Is there more jobs or not? -
Fuck off
-
Obama's amerika is heading the way of Greece. -
Solely definitely is not the case. It looks like a little of both to me. However it's impossible to argue that healthcare reform hasn't totally messed up full time employment. It's now much less expensive to hire two 20 hour workers than one 40 hour worker. Read up on FTEs, or full time equivalents. Those 2 20 workers are the exact same as 1 40 hour worker.greenblood said:

1 40-hour work must be paid hourly plus obamacare.
2 20-hour works must be paid hourly only
therefore the cost of
1 40-hour work is > 2 20-hour workers
Hope this helps. But I'm not holding me breath. -
Show me where it says any employer has to pay one penny for the cost of insurance to any employee.pawz said:

Pay the insurance or pay the penalty if you have over 50 employees. Seems pretty simple to me. You might want to read your own link next time dummy.2001400ex said:

So when again are you going to refute a single fact? I've been waiting for months...
And yes, this is the new normal until overall govt policy changes...and who knows when that will be.
-
You do realize that your own source using your metrics showed that the Republican years of 2001-2007, using conservative philosophies of cutting taxes and going into war, only brought hours worked to what they were when Clinton left office.HoustonHusky said:So when again are you going to refute a single fact? Is easy really. You make health insurers and providers compete for the business. Single prayer.2001400ex said:

Or scrap it all together.
As it sits, you championed an artificial monopoly - even an idiot in his first week of econ 101 knows - which only benefits said providers/insurers.
What's worse is the middle class you claim to espouse for bears the overwhelming majority of that burden.

And Bush had lots of problems...he did some good and some bad...but nobody (sans you since you are a babbling moron) holds him up as an government conservative. But at least he didn't murder the median income the way Obama has.

Weird, the worst recession in 80 years cause median incomes to drop. Notice how you don't extend the chart out to 2015. More misinformation.HoustonHusky said:
