Possibly. If he stays somewhat clean though, he's easily better than Sacre and some other bums on their team.

He looked good in SB training. He's probably not far enough from his checkered past to stay on the right track. I wish him well, but cheaters cheat, drinkers drink, and losers lose. I hope I'm wrong, but you are who you are at some point.

He was so far off the rails at UW that he was leading the country in blocks and had more blocks than any other PAC 12 team by himself. He doesn't even have to necessarily be clean. I agree with you that he won't. He just needs to stay out of trouble. -
Upshaw was a good player despite Romar. That has to be worth something to an NBA team. Fuck, the Blazers should have got in on that. Fucking worthless franchise.

This! I argued this with DNC multiple times. Upshaw with that athletic 7 foot body needed to start, not sit for 10 minutes after warming up.
