Has surpassed Isiah Thomas as the worst former player that became a GM. Kevin McHale and Doc Rivers are Red Auerbach compared to these two.

The Hornets could have toughed it out for one more year for 9 million and been done with Lance Stevenson. Instead they add Hawes and Barnes. Hawes has 3 years 17 million left on his deal. And he sucks anyways. Great move MJ!

    But Clips gonna Clip.

Jordan needs to destroy an entire league before popping off.

    False.

The correct answer is: Chris Mullin.

And I still think Isiah is ahead of Mj. That Steve Francis and Marbury pairing may be all time fucktardedry.

Stevenson won't change anything for the Clippers. The point is, MJ's trade can be easily ripped apart both talent wise and economically. All of us fans are stupid, but very few fans would be stupid enough to make this move.

Anytime you can decrease your overall talent and tie up cap space on a shitty center who can't play defense, you have to do it. And they still have Kemba Walker, MGK, Henderson, and Al Jefferson so this isn't a team that is trying to tank. It's mystifying even for a shitty GM like Jordan. Is this GM performance art or some shit?

I knew that. We also know who is really calling the shots.

It's not a terrible deal. I don't know what you're going on about cap space for. 5 million a year is nothing now. If they can just get Hawes to be a quality back up that price is fine. Jared Dudley showed that just because you're bad for Doc doesn't mean your bad.

I would rather have Stevenson's 9 million off the books next year instead of paying Hawes 5.5 million per for two more years. That's before even getting into their ability. Who are Jefferson and Hawes going to guard?

The Clippers got rid of their worst contract and picked up someone that could help their team. And of he doesn't, they can cut him loose after one season.

And that's why it is a strong move for the Clips ...

Barnes is a rotational player at this point of his career ... probably not a strong starter in the league anymore.

IF Lance gets his head on straight, it's a massive talent upgrade for the Clippers. Big IF ... but there's no questioning his talent.

They will mesh fairly well together, win 55 games, and lose in the 2nd round.
