If he somehow pulls this series out he's right there with Jordan.

If he does what he did tonight, other than 30% shooting, over the next few years, he's right there. Until then, it's not even close.

Tonight was clearly a case of GS choking, particularly the NBA so called MVP. Without Thompson, GS would have lost by 20.

Lots of overreacting and crowning going on in this thread ...

The Cavs are going to struggle to get above 90 points in regulation with their current roster no matter what LBJ does ...

For them to win games, they need help from GS to shoot as poorly as they did in Game 2 ... which is as poorly as they have shot all season.

Which do you expect to continue?

All last night did was delay the inevitable and probably push this series to a 6 game series instead of a 5 game series.

This. People have short memories. Golden State has had other poor games. They lost at home to Memphis and Houston lost by two.

There's no question that that was the worst offensive game that GS had the entire season and they still pushed that game to OT when they had ZERO business pushing that game to OT.

    Shit happens.

You could argue that the same thing happened in the Memphis series where Memphis slowed down the pace, got physical, and punched the Warriors in the mouth a few times. Eventually, GS found the right combo and from that point forward ended the series. It will probably be more difficult with LBJ than with Memphis, but the same theory will hold true.

The problem with your stupid ZERO business argument is that Cleveland had ZERO business being in either of those games. You can talk all you want about the Warriors poor shooting but Cleveland won, on the road, without Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love.

I'd still bet GS to win this series. But if you're not at least doubting it you're just being stubborn. It's possible that the answer to all the problems GS causes is to have one of the best players of all time.

Because LBJ is guarding each of the 5 Warrior players on the court at the same time?

What's happened in this series is as much about the lack of efficiency of the Warriors offense than it is what LBJ is doing offensively. And let's be really honest for a second ... the reason LBJ is getting huge numbers is a combination of a) no other realistic option for the Cavs offensively (Mozgov had 17 points but for whatever strange reason they kept him out of the game for the last 10+ minutes, crazy JR Smith had 13, and nobody else had double figures ... and most likely nobody else on their roster will be changing that materially going forward) and b) because it allows the Cavs that drink like merlots the opportunity to control tempo and limit transition opportunities through turnovers.

The Warriors shot under 40% last night and a ghastly 23% from 3 point range. In Game #1 they were at 44% and 37% respectively. Do that in Game #2 and they win that game by probably 10 points.

I don't see the Cavs being able to play at a much higher level than they are right now. The Warriors have another gear that they can get to. Whether they will or not we'll see how it plays out. But it's not being stubborn to say that the Warriors have that ... they've proven that all season.

Warriors will probably win in 6, but acting like a dip in shooting is only due to an off night and not due to defensive adjustments is kind of short sighted. They won't shoot 23% again but Cleveland defended them very well and can do so again.

Can you be a little more specific as to which idiotic insanely stupid opinion to which you're referring?
