    I have spent a combined 4 years in Iraq & Afghanistan, and the only reason I went over there as a civilian was for $$. Anyone that passes up a large NFL contract while in his prime to join the ARMY Rangers and go to battle in the biggest sh1thole in the world for his country should get a tunnel at every University. If everyone had that same type of passion and unselfishness this world would be a lot better place.

    You walk up to any soldier serving in the middle east and hand them a briefcase with 5 million and a chance to go home, 99% take it with a gigantic smile on their face. He did the complete opposite. The guy is a true hero, it doesn't matter how he died.

    I'm one of those soldiers, but I wasn't playing in the NFL before i signed up, either. Props to Tillman, but most of us uniformed types would have kept cashing pay checks in the league if we'd had the choice.
