I'm confused. Sark said this team is young?

Don't you get it? This team will always be young.
-
They are young. 18-22 years old,. It's not like he has 45-55 year olds out there. In what universe do you live in when a 22 year old isn't young?
-
Young AND mature. That's good coaching abundance 101.
-
I think he meant the FRESHMEN on the team are young. HTH.

Young talent that's more mature than in Sark's previous seasons seems to be the theme of the blog. If that's true, we'll see improved road performance from the Huskies compared to the recent past,...... and they will need it against the rarity of an undefeated Illini.
Can we truly anticipate in any way how well the Huskies will play on Saturday far from home against a largely unknown opponent....... based only on how they performed in upsetting BSU? Given the up-and-down surprises we've been delt in the four years of Sarkball, I can't expect to not be surprised again no matter how what happens. -
Just wait until the Huskies drop a game then those "Mature" Huskies will suddenly become "Young" again.
Lather, Rinse, Repeat. -
I never gave Sark enough credit. He's smarter than he sounds. It started when he got congratulated after the first LSU loss.
Always a way out or a couched sentence here and there. I'd do the same thing - it's a good gig -
Sark knows if he doesn't win at least 8 games it's curtains, so he is saying how mature the team is ONLY because if it is a winner > 7-6 next year he can fall back on the "young" excuse.

Same Doogs who have been screaming to bench Price for Miles will be the first ones to bring up having an inexperienced QB.ApostleofGrief said:Sark knows if he doesn't win at least 8 games it's curtains, so he is saying how mature the team is ONLY because if it is a winner > 7-6 next year he can fall back on the "young" excuse.
"You can't expect to beat a powerhouse like Eastern with a new QB"
-
He never said the team was young... he only said the team was young. You guys need to learn the difference.

Yes Taildragger, you are correct sir. No way to handicap this team. In the late 90's and 2000's I rode Oregon because I, not Vegas or the media, knew Oregon would clean clocks home or away, early in the season before anyone figured them out.. They were VERY WELL COACHED, and they executed home and away (like BSU). No team has executed like the ducks since Smiling Smith came aboard, and they started buying players (Mo Morris was the 1st Cadillac they bought)Tailgater said:Young talent that's more mature than in Sark's previous seasons seems to be the theme of the blog. Washington, under Sark has been the exact opposite. Who knows how big a turd Sark will lay at soldier field.
