That's the fun thing about sports, projecting how guys will do after seeing them play their first year. Lenius was a late bloomer the staff monitored and then jumped on when he had a good senior year in limited time:

So yeah, I guess I'm going out on a limb and giving CCP some praise for getting this guy after seeing him more in the latter half of the 2014 season. Based on watching him last year, he'll probably never be a 4.4 guy but he has great size (6'5" 217 lbs), good speed, and it's pretty clear he was an under-the-radar guy whose best football is ahead of him as his learning curve steepens.AtomicDawg said:Ccp deserves no praise for Lenius until he does anything.
In fact, ccp sucked his entire first year. I saw little creativity on offense and the worst offense since the years of Ty. A recruiting class on par with what uw always recruits to whenever a coach tries and a team that sucked on the field. -
He moved from Canada and played 1 year of football before arriving at UW.HFNY said:

@BallSacked watched him in HS since there were some Bruins on his team and can provide more info. -
I doubt the chart will be relevant to you going forward.salemcoog said:Will there be an upgraded chart for 2015?

Yeah I saw his team beat Serra in the playoffs two years ago. Serra had I believe 3 5 star players and another 6 or so players that are in the pac12 now. Serra is a trooj feeder school so actually most of them were Trojans, 1 or 2 Bruins, and an actual duck. Chaminade had Jojo McIntosh, the Lee brothers, Brad Kayaa, Bar Milo and a few more. So there was close to two dozen pac12 level players on the field that night.whatshouldicareabout said:

Lenius stood out to athletically because he was the tallest guy on the field and could run and jump really well. It just was clear he wasn't much more than a jump ball outlet for Kayaa to throw to. Lenius didn't move to the U.S. until fall of his senior year. If he played ball in SoCal all 4 years he would have been much more heralded and recruited, quite honestly. Reminds me a bit of ex-Bruin Joe Fauria.
At the time I hoped UCLA would offer, but they were chasing Bryce Dixon the 5star tight end from Ventura. He went to SC, smacked a girl up and has since sold the couch. Good times.

Hey before I place my bets I just want to know how many close games Peterman will give away.haie said:

We have history with the old chart. A new one throws a gear in the monkey wrench. -
I just listened to the podcast of the Peterman interview.
What I liked: Peterman saying he was upset about 8 true freshman having to play last year. I also loved his comments about building a dominant defense. It's obvious that Petersen wants to build a program for the long haul.
What I didn't like: Peterman saying it would take time to build depth and develop talent. My translation of that was that right now, we really suck. I get it, but how long is he talking about? I also didn't like his comments about taking graduate transfers. I wish he was more open to it, especially once the program improves.
Conclusion: What Petersen says doesn't actually matter and he will either win or he won't. Either way it will be interesting. -

Listen again. He said grad transfers won't happen because of UW policy, not his. You could actually tell he's not too happy about it.

But how is UW a fucking dreckfest?Quietcowskee said:because of UW policy, not his.
