Has he fired Bevell yet?

Did I get a shout out?

Just heard a BevMo ad; does that count?Swaye said:Did I get a shout out?

Depth, education & process.............that's the interview.
-
Pretty obvious Salk didn't want to talk about UW, one of the worst interviews I have heard. You get a coach in studio and do that for an interview.... Just awful.

I'm in Vegas so I don't really care, but fuck everything.

Wasn't able to listen but depth is getting better, the staff is creating a balanced roster, and the players are now in Year 2 of the process.
I hadn't realized it but did anyone else realize that the only WR left from the Sloppy Steve's 2012 is Jaydon Mickens? Kendyl Taylor transferred down to Northern Arizona and Dewayne Washington is at RB.
Couple that with John Ross being injured (and mostly playing CB last year), Darrell Daniels moving to TE, and Stringfellow being String and leaving (anyone who was paying attention to recruiting knew he was a head-case even in high school).
We are fortunate that the staff was able to get Pettis and Lenius (massively high-ceiling) in 2014 and then snag Renfro (Michigan State wanted him badly) and Chico (beating out UCLA).
Even better, the staff is making great inroads for the 2016 class in a big year for WRs on the West Coast....which is kind of the general theme of this staff is that things are slowly getting better on the depth, talent, and balance front. -
Just fucking win.

Someone has to play WR. Those guys might be pretty good, but I wouldn't call us fortunate to have them. It should be expected that we have some good players at every position.HFNY said:Wasn't able to listen but depth is getting better, the staff is creating a balanced roster, and the players are now in Year 2 of the process.

what did you expect him to say? Did you expect him to come on a Seattle sports radio program and give all kinds of trade secrets?
Tackle better.
Run better. Throw better.
Winning formula.

So why the fuck are you paying attention to the basement dwelling people that inhabit this bored???Dennis_DeYoung said:I'm in Vegas so I don't really care, but fuck everything.
The only acceptable answer is that this is what you do in between trips to the table and lines of blow. -
You should be thankful that Petersen hit the ground running and worked hard to get a very good transition class besides enjoying the FREE PUB that came with coaching in the Rose Bowl, doing limited recruiting for the new job, and then scrambling to take fliers on guys that either sucked or weren't getting into school under any condition like Siete y Seis liked to do.RoadDawg55 said:

Bingo.
It was a transition year and pretty much all of the big-time players were off the board (whether at WR or a different position) so they didn't take JAGs, they took guys who easily emerge as impact players there true soph years.
And more to Tequila's point, I'm very confident both Pettis and Lenius will have better college careers than James Johnson (part of the transition class of 2009).
Perhaps even worse, Sarkisian's 2010 class was only Kevin Smith and DiAndre Campbell. I was a big Smith fan but injuries hurt him (he should've redshirted in 2012 and had 72 career catches for 14.7 ypc and 4 TDs) while DiAndre Cambell was nice to have around last year for depth and veteran presence, Pettis and Lenius passed him on the depth chart.Tequilla said:

Should we have expected Petersen to sit around and do nothing? Petersen did his job. Nothing more, nothing less. Pettis had no other Pac 12 offers. We all expect him to be better than Sark so the comparison is pointless. They were both good gets, but neither is Reggie Williams. Lenius made one single note worthy play last year.Tequilla said:

^^^ are the gloves off?
Asking for a friend. -
Because of his brothers success at Boise, Pettis would have followed Petermaus wherever he went. Probably why no one else offered.RoadDawg55 said:

I agree with your point RD, just adding some color for you and tequila to accurately put these men on a flat bed truck and compare their suitability for work.

How many college players are Reggie Williams?
Did I miss where Lenius or Pettis were compared to Reggie Williams?
Maybe a better question would be will Lenius/Pettis compared to Kasen Williams? Who is the next best WR in the Siete y Seis tenure? -
And no, we shouldn't crown Petersen for doing his job. But on the other hand, we shouldn't be remiss to give him credit for having a solid transition class that has a good chance of speeding up the turnaround by 1/2 a season or more.

If you're going to post a pic of taking the gloves off, at least get some heavyweights in the picture not some hand slapping huggers (Finnish dudes aren't good fighters)

Ccp deserves no praise for Lenius until he does anything.
In fact, ccp sucked his entire first year. I saw little creativity on offense and the worst offense since the years of Ty. A recruiting class on par with what uw always recruits to whenever a coach tries and a team that sucked on the field. -

Will there be an upgraded chart for 2015?
