Wow. I'd include a link but I'm posting from my SGN3. But it is front page of the NYT.
This is as bad as the militia nuts that are constantly worried about the UN invading.

It's actually the governor of the state threatening to send the state guard to the 15 training exercises to take on the federal military.
-
It's neither but cool story anyway
-
It isn't neither. He has commanded the Texas Nat. G. to surveil the movement of US federal troops on training in Texas. That is serious nutjob behavior.
-
Chuck Norris is worried. I'm convinced.

But how is Rick Perry a bad governor?

"It's OK to question your government. But the military is something else. Our military is quite trustworthy. The civilian leadership, you can always question that, but not the men and women in uniform," Perry said, according to the newspaper.
Last week, Abbott sent a letter to Texas State Guard Major General Gerald "Jake" Betty, explaining that he was directing the Guard to monitor Operation Jade Helm 15 "to address concerns of Texas citizens and to ensure that Texas communities remain safe, secure and informed about military procedures occurring in their vicinity." -
I wouldn't be surprised, at all, if the Major General of the Texas Guard -- decides to NOT do his utmost to carry out that order.

Real liberals don't trust federal power and troops
