USC fans should be smarter than that.
Out of 4 (or 5 if you want to 2009) classes he recruited, he never had a QB, OL, or WR drafted and left the cupboard nearly bare at QB, RB, OL, WR, LB, and especially in the secondary. Tough to compete for a conference title if you don't have good QB or OL play.
Sloppy Steve was winging it while learning on the job (and boozing it up waaaay too much while off the practice field) and Coach Pete is still cleaning up the mess he left. Sarkisian's 2012 class mostly sucked, his 2011 class only had 2 OL in it, and his 2013 class already has 5 players gone from it (out of 22). -

If Sark could actually recruit NFL talent then you'd have QBs and WRs getting picked early.
Shelton- was staying home regardless of Sark
Shaq- that was all Tosh

All the draftees this year were on the D but SC fans love to shit on Wilcox. so is sark actually a defensive talent guru? true?
