By those stats, the $EC averaged 3.857 draft picks per team. The Pac 12 had 4.083. But the SEC is far and away superior. Everyone says so.

    Winning natties >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> draft picks

I'd take Ohio State's season over Washington's season after all.

Have no idea how tOSU won a natty without 4 first round draft picks in the top 44

    Math is hard.

SEC had 54 draftees. Pac-12 had 39 draftees.

SEC has 14 teams. Pac-12 has 12 teams.

    54 / 14 = 3.857

    39 / 12 = 3.25

    3.857 > 3.25

    SEC > Pac-12

    HTH
    Doogs hate facts and math.

These guys can't admit that the partially manufactured run of championships is over now so we're doing draft picks. Give that one or two more years.

Damn I just cant do the math. Why would a conference with 14 teams would have more pics than a conference with 12? Why would a conference with 2 less teams have 3 more players picked in the first 64 picks?

Why would a conference have like 7 natties compared to 1 this last decade?

Why are you comparing the SEC to the XII (Texas, 2005), the ACC (FSU, 2013), and the B1G (tOSU, 2014)?

We've already established the bias of the SEC during the BCS era. Funny, the 1st year oustside of the biased and corrupt SEC era, they finished 3rd/4th, depending on perspective, and 2nd to the pac12 (2 less teams) when it comes to the draft (1st-2nd round)...or when it counts.
Oh funny too that before the biased and corrupt BCS era, the SEC rarely won more than 2 national titles back to back. Coincidence? Think fucking not! You either are young, dumb and couldnt care less about college football (thomas), have only watched CF for a few years (purpleJ, carelessabout, or splitskin) or stubborn ignorant old geezers like Tequila...you just dont get the big picture.

It's just interesting that LSU was the first team in recent memory to win a NC with two losses. Then a few years later they play Bammer in the title game...in a rematch. It's interesting that this happens around the same time a conference with shit media markets and toothless hicks gets huge TV money.

The other four are probably legitimate, with the two best coaches of the past 20 yrs of course.

yup. During the poll era, still the best method yet (not counting playoff as it just started)

It's just interesting that LSU wain the year, you dropped below the last team with your former record in the the first team in recent memory to win a NC with two losses. Then a few years later they play Bammer in the title game...in a rematch. It's interesting that this happens around the same time a conference with shit media markets and toothless hicks gets huge TV money.

Yup Marshall, in the poll era (the best method to date), he who won lately moved up, he who lost lately moved down. SEC bias didnt exist. If you were Alabambi, and you lost late you dropped behind the last team with your former record. There was NO dropping 2-3 spots to save Your ass for ESPN's conference. No worries about ESPN's ratings.

The field was even. Best team, best conference won. Sure there was some bias with east coast voting, but the best team usually won by virtue of beating everyone and beating them in November.

All these new fish fucks who graduated UW in 2002 or later dont get it. They werent around when EVERY conference was equal until Jan 1. No "power conference rankings", qbr's, "sec bias index's" etc..

the pac12 is on par with the SEC, always has been, same with big 10. The Big 8 was the baddest modern-era conference in all the land, ... wouldnt know it now thanks to fags like purpleJ.

    Time to write another article.

Especially when the SEC dominated the Pac-10 in that era too.
