It's sad to see how far UW Hoops has fallen

Besides the wet doog thongs, another thing these two recruits had in common is that Romar beat out mid-majors for them both. Goss narrowly picked UW over Harvard. Jerreau decommitted from VCU for the UW offer.
Now both of them have transferred out of the program, and it's 100% clear that both of them would have been better off choosing the mid major than UW.
When a kid would have been better off playing at Virginia Commonwealth or fucking Harvard than playing at UW, we have the wrong damn coach.

Goss was rated 10-15th best PG in the country, then shot up some spots in the final month after all-star games. Looks like the original rankings were right - not quite a draft pick. Goss thought he'd be in the NBA within 3 years.
How many former UW head coaches have better records than Romar? -

I've bled purple and gold for over 30 years and that will never change. But, if my kid has opportunity to go to Harvard for any reason, he"s going to fucking Harvard. Period. End of story.dnc said:Doogs flooded themselves over two recruits in particular in the post Ross/Wroten era: Jernard "Durant" Jerreau and Nigel Williams "A Scout.com conspiracy is keeping him from being a 5 star" Goss. These were the golden boys, the should be superstars. Jerreau would take a little development time they reasoned. Goss would be all conference from day one.

The fact NWG ended up at UW at all is bad parenting, IMO. -

I've heard nothing but horror stories over his parents. It's a real shame that he ended up in the place he's in. He could be a very good 4 year player at a school. He could have left with a graduate degree and a whole lot of connections after he gets done playing over seas. Instead, he's going to gonzaga.
You almost have to feel bad that a kid who could have been set for life going to harvard is now finishing his career at the armpit of the pacific north west(sorry yakima, spokane still has you).
