Coogs used the whole, "You have no idea the damage Doba did."
Wulff was quoted as saying, "Cougs don't eat their own. This is the same university it used to be." No dumbass, you got rid because you went 5-32 and there was an opportunity to get a proven winner at head coach.
I have no respect for Wulff or Embers because they were bleeding cunts when they got fired. -

Wulff inherited a program at ground zero (unlike Sark) and was finally making some strides in his last year.
That 2011 WSU team was 4-8 with a 3 point loss to UCLA and OT loss to Utah. Both games they blew in the 4th quarter. Its too bad if they had beat Utah they'd have been 5-6 going into the apple cup. They also played Oregon tough that year. They had made some real strides that year and with major qb injuries. If Tuel is healthy the entire year they probably squeak into a bowl. Wulff got dealt a shitty hand. That team was going to be awful for 2 years even if Saban was the coach. All being said, they had a chance to get Leach and it was obviously the right move. -
Truth! Those 2008 and 2009 Coug teams weren't Pac-10 talent and might not even been D-1 talent at certain spots.HeretoBeatmyChest said:Wulff inherited a program at ground zero (unlike Sark) and was finally making some strides in his last year.

I know Coug fans got tired of him blaming Doba but Doba really did set him up for failure. Unlike Sark or even Ty who inherited more talented rosters than their supporters would ever admit, Wulff really did inherit jack shit for talent.
It also didn't help he was a terrible recruiter and a terrible coach. It was a perfect storm for shitty. -
Doba fucked them over, but to not look like a competent team is always on the head coach. Any head coach worth anything does not go 5-32.
