Future Book for Derek

A fair amount of the book could be about Sark and why players didn't reach their potential, etc. Then you could focus on how Petersen came in, changed the culture, changed the strength program, etc.
The book would have a really broad audience if Petersen could win a conference championship while Sark is still at USC.
What would make the book intriguing is for the fan to see the 180 degree turn that had to be made when Petersen came in….and how it lead to success and revival. Granted, only time will tell if that happens.

Sounds like another money grab.
DJ (ILTCDDJ) should be all over that shit.
You're not asking for royalties, are you? -
Keep in mind his limited technical writing gifts.
-
That's a good idea Chest, have to let it play out and see if there's a story there
I heard from a friend the book business is brutal these days...maybe DJ could write a romance novel or something in the meantime? Something with a Bollywood flavor might be nice -

I'm hearing @DerekJohnson thinks he's the college football version of Hemingway.

Not at all. But the idea of reliving the Sark years admittedly doesn't fire me up with enthusiasm.topdawgnc said: -

I kept saying I didn't want to do it. Then one day I was at Greenlake with a woman named Lucy. She had heard me complain about Willingham and Turner and Emmert a lot and finally said would you just write the book already?

That book could have a whole chapter about bringing a vicious tiger to practice and how it helped prepare the team for a tiger plunger on the bayou.

Better get to writing, SarkFS won't be at USC very long. Source: ScriptHeretoBeatmyChest said:Derek, may I humbly (not really) suggest that a future book be about the revival of Husky Football under Chris Petersen. Obviously, its presumptuous on my part and you'd need to wait for the success on the field and a conference championship. That is why I say future.
