Leach is actually for real, given time. Nothing against 5th year Sark as we're only one game in and looking good, but the Pete Carroll tree tends to fold like a K-mart deck chair when faced w/ headwinds

Agree about Leach. He knew exactly what he was doing by treating the players like shit last year. He didn't want the pussies Wulff had recruited.unfrozencaveman said:Leach is actually for real, given time. Well two big time programs in USC and Texas appear to be looking for head coaches this offseason.
Going to be tough to hire a legit guy if we choose to fire Sark with those big jobs. The opportunity to snatch one up was last year.
Curious who ends up at USC and Texas next year. -
With BSU on the decline, Chris Peterson?He_Needs_More_Time said:Well two big time programs in USC and Texas appear to be looking for head coaches this offseason.

I think Gary Patterson to Texas makes too much sense to not happen(so it won't).
Now for USC? I don't know where they go. I'm sure Del Rio and Sark's names will pop up, you'll see Peterson's name. Curious who actually ends up being their coach though. -
Gary Patterson would be great at Texas. Recruiting basically gets down by itself at both schools. You hire a strong recruiter or two on your staff and you are set. They don't necessarily need to have strong ties to the school, especially USC. Bill O'Brien at Penn State would be a nice candidate at either spot. Art Briles at Baylor would do great at Texas, and I bet he would be a candidate.

Yea the Baylor coach or Patterson for Texas, maybe Muschamp?(a stretch I know).RoadDawg55 said:Gary Patterson would be great at Texas. Recruiting basically gets down by itself at both schools. As for USC? That's tough to pin point but yea the Penn State coach could be the guy.
If the Eagles go 4-12 or 5-11 perhaps Chip Kelly could pull a Petrino/Saban and bolt.
I agree on recruiting for Texas. I'm trying to hire a strong coach and not worry about recruiting. Ty Willingham could get top 10 classes at Texas. Any competent coach will get top 5 classes. -
They canceled the 2013 Apple Cup?dhdawg said:wsu better enjoy this cause it's probably gonna be the only team they beat in the pac this year

Bridles hates UT. He wnt go there. Patterson is popular with Texas fans, though.
