Fetters says that Lindquist is starting to emerge as the leader of the qbs. I'm not putting a lot of stock in it because of the source, but if true, FUCK ME!!!!!
-
A dawgman prediction huh.
Yeah I'm not going to lose any sleep over that.
0% Lindquist starts unless he got a new arm. And a new brain. -
We are fucked if Lindquist is the starter.

I maintain since I blacked out the 2nd half of the Hawaii game I'm not as down on Lindy as the rest of the planet. I also am a huck it chuck it whore and he has a nice deep ball.

His arm isn't the problem, we saw he can overthrow receivers by 20 yards all day long. It's his brain. I think it's fixable, and I also am not as worried about him as others since we're all just basing it on the Hawaii game, the first game of the year and his first ever.
If he gets some coaching this spring/fall and starts hitting his receivers, he could be just fine. He's got the arm and the legs, and the eyes, and a great smile and...... -
I'm also basing it on the fact that he was behind Miles from the first day both stepped on campus. And we have seen Miles. How can anyone believe that it would turn out okay if he is the starter?YeahILikeDawgs said:His arm isn't the problem, we saw he can overthrow receivers by 20 yards all day long. It's his brain. Lindquist is a nervous, smiley white kid just happy to be playing college football. He doesn't have it in him to be great. We already know this. -
I would say "brain" usually isn't fixable. I take that to encompass things like 'throwing with anticipation' 'reading defenses' 'decision making'. If a QB still has issues in that department in year 3 it's highly unlikely to change in year 4 or 5.YeahILikeDawgs said:His arm isn't the problem, we saw he can overthrow receivers by 20 yards all day long. Plus he isn't a Peterman guy..I would think he wants to roll with one of his ownYeahILikeDawgs said:His arm isn't the problem, we saw he can overthrow receivers by 20 yards all day long. Skeptical on Lindy (ILTCHT). Agree that the brain is rarely fixable. There is new technology out there though (stem cells), so who knows?
