What I am Hearing...

Alphonso Marsh (same class as Brandon Beaver) appears to be considering walking on at UW. He went to Utah out of HS and had some issues, went back to California and I have heard that he is up here. He is a corner/safety. Just putting that out there, don't twist.

Id worry about Kim poaching this info, but the current doogman thread subjects tell me he doesn't care enough to.
3 links from Taft,
An OT about UCLA's o-line
And something about the volleyball team

$10.95 doesn't buy what it used to.doogville said:

This is why I gladly pay Sven's 20 bucks every month.

He'll never qualify.

Would love to take a flier on him. From his Rivals profile, he was recruited by CP and Jimmy Lake (and also by the previous U-Dub staff) so he is familiar with the new staff and Washington:

Does anyone know if he'd be able to make it in for spring ball? -
As I remember, the kid made some comments about getting "played" by Sark's staff, alluding to Sark giving him attention just to get Brandon Beaver in the boat, then dumping him

If he was any good he would not have been kicked off the team at Utah.

He probably sucks, but there are good players who get kicked off of teams.AtomicDawg said:If he was any good he would not have been kicked off the team at Utah.

And what's the downside of a walk-on? He only gets a scholarship if he earns one.RoadDawg55 said:

When you're not good coaches look for a reason to run you off early. wittingham had no patience for him and was kicked off the team because he sucked and complained about going to class and was popping off on Twitter.RoadDawg55 said:

As a walk on doesn't matter much as he wont hurt us. Nothing to get excited about though. -
He could be selling the couch already...
Ppl be worried bout the wrong things I need to find away to Cali asap

Something to do with his mother. Guessing he may decide to stay closer to home if he plays somewhere next year. -

Once Kim and Eklund get wind of this, they will say they've known for a while but wanted to keep it under wraps til it was official.
-
Well at least he CONFIRMED he is in Seattle. Doesn't sound to me like he will be on the team though, we shall see, either way it will be interesting. 50% right, which is better than Ektard's 81%! #Math

At least he has realistic goals and a firm grip on reality.GrundleStiltzkin said: -
he should never have made that promise.

"Walk away" from your scholarship in Utah. Get shot back home in Compton. Become a Petey OKG. Goto the NFL and then pop off.bananasnblondes said:
