That pretty much sums up the problem with that side. The way rape victims are treated is actually pretty disgusting. The amount of rapists that get away with it is also pretty disgusting. But fuck no am I going to side with the people that accuse generic songs and ad campaigns of promoting rape culture.
It reminds me of the NCAA arguments. Yeah sure the NCAA is fucking the athletes over. But that side has to compare it to slavery every chance they get. I just won't be on that team. -
