Ross didn't work out at combine as he had minor knee surgery

Can't be 315, right?

This stuff is so much better than the dude-brah, Coli BS spewed by 7. This shows results of hard work out of the spotlight. Does it translate to the field? We'll see, but I absolutely love the energy in that room.

Coleman, 500 with collars, great squat for a RB.

I've never been much for paying attention to the workout numbers ... can I get a translator for these numbers?GrundleStiltzkin said: -

For an interior DL - the squat and vert are very nice numbers and indicate very good lower body explosion. I think for young players (HS & CFB) generally vert is a very good metric as it's pure lower body explosion and power whereas 40 could be a lot about sprinter form that isn't always football relevant. Over 30" VJ is good for lineman and over 35" is good for everyone else in my opinion.Tequilla said:

His hang clean is solid that's more total body strength and athleticism, though I think you'd like his max bench to be more in the 450 range. 400 is a little light, especially for a starting caliber 1-tech or 3-tech like Qualls.

Didn't Don James place the biggest emphasis on a player's vertical?

It was also good to see no help on the bench. It means the numbers are legit. Having a spotter even put a finger on the bar makes it substantially easier. That's how everyone cheated when I was in high school.
