The P/E in 2000 was 27. Typically the bull market runs until P/E gets to 25.
I know, I know. The fed is printing money and buying the country, while selling it to China. Unemployment is at 30%. We are really in the second great depression. And Obama is supplying Iran with nuclear weapons to destroy Israel.
