Eklund actually had a pretty damn good explanation for this that flies in the face ofKim's recent idiocy. He said Petersen's consistency in his approach to recruiting resonates well with kids. He sells the program and being part of the program and only looking for athletes that make the OKG grade. Eklund said kids like this more than Sark's approach, which was to sell something specific to each recruit (early playing time, getting your girlfriend into the school, bring your friend along as a walk on) instead of the program as a whole.
I fully expect Eklund to get a time out for posting this nonsense and a warning that next time he will be just gone. -
I have to play devil's advocate and say who gives a shit. Great, recruits are talking up UW. Now get them to sign. FREE PUB and coming in 2nd and 3rd doesn't do anything.

Agreed. It's part of it, but not the end result. Gas in the car doesn't guarantee it will start.RoadDawg55 said:I have to play devil's advocate and say who gives a shit. Great, recruits are talking up UW. Now get them to sign. FREE PUB and coming in 2nd and 3rd doesn't do anything.

Last I checked we had a strong transition class and I was quite satisfied with last year's class. I expect the 2016 class to be the best yet.
As for Ektard, that's surprising reasonableness from him ... that's inconsistent with his agenda. -
If all of this class makes it into school, Peterman will be 2-0 vs. Spark's first two classes that actually enrolled.

Hey, when you're wrong 81% of the time, you're right 19% of the time.Tequilla said:Last I checked we had a strong transition class and I was quite satisfied with last year's class. I expect the 2016 class to be the best yet.

True ... but rarely is the 19% tied to rationale thought.whatshouldicareabout said:
