But I thought free agents were going to be weary of Philadelphia after the McCoy trade?
Smart move by Gore. His career is winding down, but a rejuvenation is much more likely with Chip than it was in San Francisco.

Peters to Seattle has to start looking like a real possibility, you just can't go into the year expecting Simon to produce at that level.

Wonder what maxwell is getting... Simon is the worst player on that secondary

The Hawks could bring back Thurmond on a 1 year deal, hope Simon develops more after playing his first season (he missed all of 2013 with an injury), and draft a guy (I like Alex Carter from Stanford in the 3rd or 4th round or Jalen Collins from LSU though he may take longer to develop).
I hope we don't draft Peters, he's too unstable and not worth the risk of a 1st round pick. If Trufant went #22 a few years ago, I can't see a smart team drafting him until the 2nd round. -
Crispified. Just wait.LaZoris said:Wonder what maxwell is getting... Simon is the

Maxwell is getting paid more than $10 million a year, which probably means a 3rd round comp pick for Seattle next year (fantastic).
