Sean McGrew (2016, RB) Serious About UW
One of the national guys at 247 just Crystal Balled him to UW. I am guessing it is because of an article Biggins posted on Scout (That I can't read) that said in the part that I could read that UCLA was thought to be a lock but other schools now top his list.
Anyways, he reminds me of a faster Myles Gaskin. He plays for St. John Bosco, so that makes these highlights even more impressive knowing the caliber of players he is facing. Also he is a white RB!!!!1!!11!

In all seriousness, the last successful white boy RB was Gerhart? Maybe it's a Stanford thing because the white kid McCaffrey looks to be pretty good. Either way, i don't trust them.
@AEB there is a 4 star white running back coming out of Jesuit who got the MVP over some bigger names at the Cal camp. Never seen him play, but this topic reminded me.

I once had a starting white RB in Madden 2004. He was pretty good but my OL was road gradetastic so McGrew's lack of pigment won't matter if Cozz assembles another Cascade Front!!!1!!@!1!!

Thanks for the heads up. I heard that and my buddies tell me he's legit. JHigh pretty much the scrappy white RB factory. I see where the coach's kid (former QB) had a pretty good year for Boise State last year. I saw him play in the Holy Bowl 2 seasons ago. He was legit. He's white but he was the fastest junior in California last year clocking 10.6 100M and 4.5 40. Blazing fast. but maybe 5'7" 170.
Also have to consider his film is against the best competition in California (the trinity league) as well as top teams from Hawaii, Portland, and Las Vegas. -

He's a really good player. He didn't look blazing fast to me in the film. And he's obviously small. I was wondering if he was possibly a Wes Welker type (seriously). Chico is more electric imo, but it's tough to say considering this guy plays better competition.

He ran a 4.44 40 at a TBS super-regional last week for the The Opening. Electronic timed. I think his running style is unusual for someone that small. He's not shifty or elusive as similar small RBs, like Chico McClatcher, he's more one cut and sprint type of player. Kind of reminds me of a poor mans Maurice Drew. Biggins also has raved about his ability as a pass catcher. Probably not a top half p12 starter at that size, unless he builds his body into MJDs without any loss in explosiveness...but I think he could provide lots of situational value as a slot or change of pace RB at a UW UCLA or ASU. -
