I like the gallery at the bottom that says how you contribute to global warming.
Things like flying, eating food, not eating food, and having a family are all fucking over the world -

Water just rises in one area of the world. It's part of the global warming magic.

Obama promised the seas would stop rising. Another failure

Oh, cause I don't think we should just let corporations pollute as much as they want, I should drive a Prius. Got it, thanks for the clarification.RaceBannon said:Bullshit. Cars do too. You aren't willing to give up a thing but you think others should. Fuck off

Pollution is a global problem. Remember the Beijing Olympics? The smog was so bad, you couldn't even see that famous Dome of theirs during middle of the day television. My friends lived in China for a year and a half, and at about month two, they started couging up silt. So, be thankful for what you've got here.
Here's a news flash: America is leaps and bounds ahead of 90% of all other developed countries in their global footprint impact.
I do believe that people can create climate change, but you're fucking stupid if you think mankind can destroy a climate that has been around for billions of years in a matter of a 100 years. Yes, at our current rate we would eventually destroy this planet, but I think the planet will be destroyed by other means, long before humanized global warming would ever come in play. For giggles, let's say we have long standing peace but continue are current pollution rate, It would take thousands of years to see the full impact of the pollution on a global scale.

If you mean by war, nuclear attacks, etc. Absolutely. But I'm talking about consumption, green house based. You have to have some limitations. For instances, polluting into streams that could get into our drinking water, etc. However, this notion of carbon credits and bullshit like that, is just a get rich scheme that morons like Honda are brainwashed into believeing in.allpurpleallgold said:

I agree that the vast majority of the issue is with other countries. I spent two weeks in India, barely saw the sun and it wasn't cloudy. Same as China.greenblood said:Pollution is a global problem. That being said, if you think we can't impact the climate, and smog doesnt impact the climate, you are FS. A volcano has shown to impact the climate over years. -

I think he's saying it's OK to kick the can down the road on global warming, but we need to fix the federal debt right now. Makes a lot of sense.PurpleJ said:

The planet will be fine, its the human virus that inhabits that will be wiped out.
Plus, we learned comets brought human life to Earth. We will just hitch on to a different to continue the spread of the human virus. -
Maybe for the next 4-5 billion years. After that it will become the sun's bitch!jecornel said:The planet will be fine, its the human virus that inhabits that will be wiped out.
