for the record I don't think Russell is gay but I can see why people may suspect he is. My guess is their relationship changed because Russell became such a huge celebrity so quickly. He goes to work at 5am and when he's done he probably has meetings or other shit on most days. During the season he's gone a lot also. They went from spending a decent amount of time together to probably never seeing each other, except when he came home late most nights. They grew apart because of circumstances that changed within one year and she probably became really lonely, longing for earlier times. Russell is not a typical dbag like the rest of us. I don't think it was a money decision. He's going to make tons of money regardless, so there wasn't a huge financial incentive to get divorced immediately. And he's going to get the huge bump not next year but in 2016. So he basically got divorced two years before his huge pay day.
I don't think he's gay and I don't care either way. He has his shit together and is a world class leader and has a chance to be Seattle's greatest athlete ever. -
